Oh, I have seen a lot of weird movies. Zoolander, Ghostbusters, and the NIght at the Roxbury are high on my rewatch list. My brother recently reminded me about seeing Undercover Brother when we were teenagers. Comedies were of a certain variety at that time.

Napoleon Dynamite sticks out to me as one of the weirder movies. Or perhaps maybe Borat? I find cringe comedy really difficult to watch. It took me a long time to be able to watch a large chunk of The Office because the cringe made me so uncomfortable. I do not really laugh at it. It makes me feel bad for the characters more than anything else. I absorb their embarrassment as my own and some episodes have been known to make me physically ill.

I remember how many times I have been told how funny they are and I never enjoyed it. I have watched a lot of low quality horror and sci-fi movies, but either they were not memorable or were pretty bland compared to other things I have seen.

Chappy was weird for me because I felt viscerally unwell watching that movie. There is a scene where they are messing with his circuits and it is very much like a torture scene and I was unwell the rest of the night.

I think I have a very high bar for what most would consider weird. I like things to be different and out there. Things that are weird to me seem to be when they do not land the way they were intended for me. To each their own, I suppose.
