Honestly, I would be surprised if anyone’s pets did anything other than demand more treats. I know mine would. I am very strict about not letting my pets have extra treats. We always have good reports from the vet about their weight. I strive to have them maintain a healthy weight with plenty of exercise. Mine would definitely ask for more treats.
They might also request certain foods. The new kittens are definitely figuring out which flavors of wet food they prefer. They would totally be demanding the chicken flavor.
I do have a couple animals that are not super into food. They eat it so they do not die, but they do not eat more than that no matter what I offer them. They are not food focused. They would probably ask for more play time or pets.
Most likely food requests or perhaps more play time.
