Cats

After the loss of both of our cats, my partner and I are finally ready for more cats. The neighbors have begun a TNR program and have their first litter that they are trying to adopt out. They are currently keeping them until they are old enough to be spayed and neutered. There are seven of them!

We hope to adopt two or three of them. My partner wanted all seven and I had to immediately veto that. We have other pets as it is. We never got rid of all our cat furniture, toys, or food dishes. We are pretty much all set.

The hype about getting cats in the next month is making us very excited and pushing us to finally finish some projects around the house we never have the energy to do.

It is probably the biggest thing I have had to look forward to in a very long time. My partner is literally beside himself and visits them every week. I am letting him name them this time.

It has been a rough year for us and we are very excited to begin a new chapter.
