If you had to be an animal for a week, which one would you be and why?

If I had to be any animal I would probably pick something aquatic. I am afraid of being underwater. To experience the sensation of floating, it would be like flying. I would probably end up choosing a seahorse as I would not have to worry about the repercussions of this week.

It would be like being on another planet to see all the underwater vegetation and physical structures. The feeling of vastness versus the strangeness of things approaching you from every direction. Having things move above the water, completely ignorant of the world below. To experience what it would be like to find one’s way in what I have always imagined to feel like a void.

It would be such an experience to be part of the majority of the planet and see it through the lens of something that lives there. An absolutely incredible feeling.
