Okay, this is a fun prompt.
I am going to have to go with my girl, Princess Leia or General Organa. Always my favorite character. I love the whole needs rescuing, but ends up pulling her own weight and making fun of her rescuers. I also loved the fact that she was never overly weird with Han Solo. They both seemed to understand the galaxy was messed up and clearly got what they needed out of the relationship.
The fact that she could stand up to Darth Vader and not cower was great. She had a back up plan with R2-D2. The gal was always trying to stay a step ahead.
She also has a very well known name and could actually be a good challenger.
Now I can imagine her in some crazy Queen Amidala get-up as Empress.
