This is always a difficult question because when it comes to movies and tv, I can easily watch something I enjoy over again. That takes it down to books and when it comes to books it is also difficult.

There have been lots of books that were great, but I do not wish to read them again. There really are not any books I want to read again. Not any of the classics I have read. They were all really good, but not really worth the reread. I wonder how English teachers make it through teaching the same books over and over.

I think I would have to pick a mystery novel. I do enjoy twists and turns. Whodunnits would be fun to read again. Perhaps forgetting all of Agatha Christie’s works, or all of the Sherlock Holmes stories, or even Patricia Cornwell’s Scarpetta books. A good mystery or crime novel is priceless and being able to reread those would be worth losing them for the time being.

I have a tendency at figuring out endings before I get there. Sometimes very early on, so most books are not too much of an emotional investment for me. Those mystery books, even if I come up with the twist before it happens, are still a good read.
