I was in such a different place when I was 20 years old. I would probably tell myself to be kinder to yourself. Remind myself that I have worth and I should not let myself be mistreated. That I am strong enough to make it through any disaster that will befall me.

The biggest thing I have learned is that when something is worth it, it does not feel like work. When you are in a relationship with someone you care about or are trying to reach a goal that you want to reach, the work you have to do to maintain and progress does not feel like work. It feels natural. That a part of you willingly commits to these things when it is something you want in your life.

Follow your gut. If that fails you then let your brain over examine everything, but in the end know that your gut reaction was probably always the course of action that you can live with.

Things are hard. You do not have to make them harder for yourself.
