Honking the car horn through a tunnel. I have lived near a tunnel for about twenty years. Beginning the last two years, everyone has started honking as they go through it. Being in the tunnel is absolutely horrendous now. It is so loud and awful. Migraines are immediately triggered.
When I went to Pittsburgh thirteen years ago, I experienced honking in a tunnel for the first time. Traffic was backed up in the tunnel. I was told people do that after the hockey game. We were in that tunnel for probably fifteen minutes of nonstop honking. It was a nightmare.
Now it is happening where I live. Somebody tried to tell me it is a thing people have always done for years. It is not. I have lived here since 2006, it started a couple years ago. I hate it. I want everyone to go back to holding their breath through the tunnel. Much more enjoyable custom.
