Thinking a lot about yard work and gardening this year. The fruit trees are finishing up blossoming and the blueberries are already growing. It is so crazy early this year I am curious how it is all going to end.
After the work we did last year, we are nearly caught up to where we should be with the yard. After years of neglect, we are making quite the comeback. I have decided I am going to do a bit of weeding each day that the animals are out running around so they can have their time and I can feel more productive and not feel the pressure of trying to finish the weeding.
It is nice to be outside so much again. My partner is spending more time with the animals and I think it is helping him cope with everything we have been through. We used to spend so much time outdoors working on our yard and garden. It is nice to see it feel familiar again. And it is amazing to have all these critters enjoy it with us.
