Figure skating, hands down. I have loved it for years. Finally got to try ice skating a few years ago after getting the kids and it was the scariest thing ever and I never want to do it again. However, I have a new found appreciation of how amazing the figure skaters and dancers are. It is an incredibly difficult thing to do and then to make it look so easy, just wow.
It seems like most of the sports I would be interested in watching are never broadcasted, which is a shame. I had really looked forward to the surfing competition in Japan.
I tend to watch a great deal of the Olympic games, but I wish I could watch all the skaters, not just what is chosen to show me. I would really love to have complete coverage of all the events. It seems like we always miss some interesting things to stare at people in the crowds.
My mom and I always watched figure skating while I was growing up and when I had my girls, I took them to watch ice skating shows, some contests, and we saw a show with an exhibition of the Olympic skaters. It was so neat to see it in person. I took my mom with us.
